HOW Women Lead Change Forum Recap

As I write this, I’m thinking back on the incredible energy and positivity of the HOW Women Lead Change Forum in New York City on November 3rd and at the welcome dinner at Piggyback by Pig & Khao -a woman-owned business- the evening before. In our seventh year of staging the HOW Forum, our program and speakers just keep getting better. As I shared, HOW is the best gift I could bestow upon myself – the time and space to convene and connect with other like minded women to chart a path forward and create change so we can showcase our super powers and flourish.

HOW is different from other women’s leadership events because of its intimate nature and call to action orientation. The women who attend HOW – female leaders from across the globe – are forthright, openly sharing their ups and downs, career challenges and pitfalls. Speaking honestly about climbing the ladder, balancing work and parenting, and paving the way forward for the next generation of female leaders and business owners. At the close of every session, there’s a call to action and steps that each attendee can take to create change, whether it’s charting a new path, going for a promotion, or a career pivot.

Another point of difference is that our speakers not only present but also attend the conference because they truly want to learn, connect and create change for women. This provided attendees with a unique opportunity to get to know them on a personal level and form relationships.

If you couldn’t attend the 2023 HOW forum, be sure to mark your calendar for May 17th – 19th for our 2024 HOW Retreat that will take place in Narrowsburg, New York (registration opens in January 2024.)

My sincerest thanks to all of our speakers and moderators:

Ana Dutra, Tara Giunta, Daphne Kis, Ellen Hunt, Dana Galin, Carlinde Kallianiotis, Deepa Iyer, Karen Greenbaum, Lynne Murphy-Rivera, Nyathon Hoth Mai, Najwa Attiga, Mary Messner, Barbara Dehn, Lesley Jane Seymour, Amy Ho and Tanya Van Court.

Thanks to our generous sponsors for making HOW possible: Blue Fox Motel, Imprint Leadership Partners, Ginger Leadership Communications, Rootless, Rosebud Woman, OCD Media and Omar Aly Photography.
