Lani Bullock, Catsilk of Hankins

Catsilk (her moniker the result of clumsy thumbs misspelling “Catskills” and it stuck) will be the selector-of-buoyant-boogie gems for our Saturday night dance affair.

She joins us not only as the deejay, but as an independent business woman and full-time artist—a journey she notes was challenging to cultivate in Sullivan County given the deficit of creative opportunities and resources for a sustainable artist’s life until recent times. She is now living her best life and will share that story with us through music & movement Saturday night following cocktails. Come with an open mind and restless feet.

Catsilk plays eclectic “good” music that spans ten decades and may include (but not be limited to) Disco, Soul, R&B, Pop, Rock, Deep House & Techno, African, Caribbean, Latin, Jazz, Gospel, and lord knows what else! And she ALWAYS plays to the ladies—the main draw to playing at Quorum 2022.
