As the founder of Ventureneer, I’ve spent the past several years researching and writing about the challenges and triumphs of women entrepreneurs. My passion for getting women on the radar led me to become a contributor to Forbes, where I cover the success factors that drive women-led businesses. I’ve authored reports such as The Wells Fargo Impact of Women-Owned Businesses and How Women (and Men) Invest in Startups, as well as Diversity in Venture Capital: Challenges and Opportunities for New York City, which helped NYC Economic Development benchmark and improve diversity in its VC ecosystem. We also run the M/WBE Mentors Program for NYC Small Business Services, helping minority- and women-owned businesses build capacity and succeed in government contracting.
